Majordomo HF increases MVHR-system efficiency
The air quality control system consists of a control device with Majordomo HF algorithm and a building-wide recuperator designed to sort and redistribute ventilation flows in all rooms of all apartments in the apartment building.
Majordomo HF is used in multi-family buildings, when a single common equipment (fans with pressure sensor, MVHR-system) is used in the technical room or on the roof.
Only Majordomo HF is installed in each apartment, which in turn controls only the air flow inside the apartment. Thus, our system regulates the air flow in each apartment and closes the dampers when the air is not needed, while the common equipment maintains the pressure in the system and regulates the speed of air supply and exhaust.
When building occupants do not need to actively ventilate the rooms of their own apartment (e.g. during work and study hours), and the exhaust system reduces its performance, helping to keep the heat inside the house. As activity within the apartments increases (as identified through changes in room indicators), the Majordomo HF algorithm will open the necessary dampers, thereby changing the air pressure in the common shaft. In this case, the speed of the communal fans increases and indoor air quality is quickly restored.
The waste heat is recovered by the heat recovery system in the building, which has a significant impact on savings.
